Students that have taken
Computer Game Creations or have
some programming knowledge will
learn the basics of 3D
programming. Next they will
learn how to move their actors
in a 3D environment. Finally
they will add light and texture
to create a realistic world
environment.
Take home the game you created
and play it with friends.

Create a website that highlights
your creativity! Make your
website the one everybody is
talking
about. Students will learn the
basics of HTML programming, web
design, and website animation.
Next they will add text and
images to their website.
Finally, they will learn the
fundamentals of getting their
site seen by search engines like
Google, and they will learn the
fundamentals of creating a
secure e-commerce website. We
will teach you how to be Safe on
the Internet.
Students will get a CD of
their website to take home.
Students will work in teams of
two per computer.

This camp is an introduction to
building and programming robots.
Students will learn mechanical
design, construction,
programming and teamwork skills.
Students will also explore gears
and pulleys. Build and control
a (SumoBot®) robot that can
detect an opponent and avoid
obstacles. Students will use a
computer to teach their robot
and solve challenges.
Students get to keep the robot
they build.
Students will work in teams of
two per computer.

Students will take apart a
working computer. In the process
they will learn the location and
purpose of computer hardware
like the hard drive, memory, and
CPU. Next the computer will be
reassembled. Students will
install an operating system and
other software, and perform
technology upgrades and add-ons.
Finally "bugs" will be put into
the computers for the students
to troubleshoot. Students
keep the
refurbished computer that they
built! This class is offered at
the basic and advanced A+ level.

In Digital Music, your child
will learn how to make digital
music on a computer and how
music is made digitally. They
will work with industry
professionals in creating sounds
from numerous instruments,
mixing, looping and sampling
using computer programs. Each
student gets to take home a CD
of the music they created.
Students work groups of 4-6.

In this advanced course,
students will study Object
Oriented Programming (OOP) using
the Java programming language.
They will examine topics such as
networking, algorithms, and game
design. Students will leave with
a CD containing Java programming
tools and their Java games and
applications!
